What? André Rieu 2019 New Year’s concert from Sydney

Join the Maestro, André Rieu, for a magical evening of music and dance featuring his world-class sopranos, The Platin Tenors, and plenty of surprises. With show tunes, classical music and plenty of festive fun it promises to be a great way to start the New Year!
 
 
What? Ice Skate Jersey at Fort Regent

Come and skate at Jersey's fabulous indoor ice rink, whether you are a complete beginner or accomplished skater you will enjoy the atmosphere skating to the latest sounds and impressive light show. The rink will have a dedicated children's/coaching area with penguin skate aids for the youngsters.
 
 
What? Met Opera: La Traviata

New Met Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin launches his tenure by conducting Verdi's timeless tragedy. Directed by Michael Mayer, this new production features a dazzling 18th Century setting that changes with the seasons, with a heart-breaking story, which you’ll never forget. 
 
 
What? The Monkey House Jersey
Where? The Tree House, La Marquanderie Hill, St Brelade
When? Open 7 days a week from 11am to 8pm
The Monkey House is a children's adventure play area with a 2 level play frame for up to 25 children, tucked inside the Tree Top family restaurant. It has plenty of space and fun features to explore including biff bash, balls, climbing nets and a cool helter skelter slide. There's a little patch set aside just for the small folks and plenty of seating for the big folks to relax and supervise.
 
 
What? The Sleeping Beauty

A traditional pantomime containing all the elements of this much-loved fairy tale, with some novel additions and a little bit of magic. With lots of foot-tapping music, the usual pantomime gags, and plenty of opportunities to boo the baddies and cheer the goodies, this is a fun-packed show for all the family.
 
 
What? Flo and Joan: Alive on Stage

When? Wednesday 30th January 2019 at 8:00pm
Following a sell-out run of their critically-acclaimed 2017 show, The Kindness of Stranglers, musical comedy duo and sisters Flo and Joan are travelling the country with a new hour of their dark and witty songs.
 
 
What? Maritime Museum
Where? New North Quay, St Helier
When? Monday to Sunday 10:00am – 4:00pm
The Maritime Museum is all about seafaring, navigation and the elements, told through the stories of the people of Jersey. It's far from dry (no pun intended) though it's indubitably educational, there are loads of fun features to amuse the kids like the unique knitted coral reef exhibit, a moving sculpture and a traditional Punch And Judy Theatre!
